We pride ourselves on being a community organization. Our community-wide events are not only enjoyable experiences but they also play a crucial role in fostering a sense of belonging and social support. Regardless of age, gender, or cultural background, these events provide opportunities for people to come together, share experiences, and create lasting memories. By participating in our community events, individuals can develop a sense of identity and purpose, which can have a positive impact on their mental health and well-being.
In addition to improving one's mental health, our community events can also help alleviate personal struggles by providing a supportive environment where individuals can connect with others who may be going through similar experiences. This can help reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness, which are common contributors to mental health issues.
For more than four years, we've been organizing events including festivals, dinners, cultural celebrations, educational gatherings and charity events. 2022
Annual Christmas Party

Our annual Christmas gathering was a true success! Over 100 families and community members joined us in celebration of the holidays.
Thanksgiving Outreach

We served 325 families thanksgiving meals including a full-size turkey!!
Student Shoe Shopping
September 21st, 2022
We took 12 Oceanside students and their parents to buy new shoes for back to school. Most of them who’ve never shopped at a Dicks Sporting Goods store.
NAACP Miracosta

Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway
November 24th, 2020
In a 2 day thanksgiving operation, we’ve distributed 23,654 pounds of fresh food. Including over 100 turkeys in our first Thanskgiving giveaway.
Chicago Youth Trip
November 1st, 2020
We had an incredible opportunity to take 7 youth to Chicago for a weekend and had a blast doing so. Most of our youth have never traveled outside of San Diego county, out of state or been in an airplane. That made our trip so much special!
BBQ & Fishing

Back to School Fundraiser

12 classic low riders and classic cars. 20 voters were registered, hundreds of tacos, free hair cuts and a ton of school supplies donated. We also had the amazing UnderCover Jams group perform some amazing hits!

Lived Experiences hosted a unique trauma Informed mentoring trainings lead by our partner Prema with Medra Consulting. We’re working to lead the efforts in bringing mentoring in the field of trauma to Oceanside and in North County.
