The Dream Center

The Dream Center operates as a resource hub located in the city Oceanside, Ca. Our center provides a safe and inclusive environment for youth and adults to gather, socialize and engage in activities. Through community outreach, collaborations and partnerships, the Dream Center is geared to serve as an outlet for youth to engage in recreational, emotional, educational and artistic programming.

Our programs are designed to develop youth’s understanding of themselves and their culture; We provide the youth tools and the knowledge, skills and qualities needed for leadership; We encourage youth’s appreciation for the culture and communities of others and promote cross-cultural leadership; We build youth leaders through meaningful engagement in real community issues on an emotional basis. 

Wraparound is a method of engaging with children and youth with the highest levels of mental health needs, and their families, so that they can live in their homes and communities and realize their dreams.

Restorative Practices

Restorative practices is a social science that studies how to improve and repair relationships between people and communities. The purpose is to build healthy communities, increase social capital, decrease crime and antisocial behavior, repair harm and restore relationships.

The Change Companies® founded the evidence-based practice of Interactive Journaling®, a structured and experiential writing process that motivates and guides participants toward positive life change.

SEE Learning


Social, Emotional, and Ethical (SEE) Learning is an innovative K-12 education program developed by Emory University. SEE Learning™ provides educators with the tools they need to foster the development of emotional, social, and ethical intelligence for students and themselves.



People who have been through the justice system and have been transformed 

can serve as positive role models for others. Serving as mentors with lived experiences in our communities, mentors can contribute through a meaningful mentoring relationship with a young person while 

earning money and getting training and skills that will lead to jobs and the beginning of a career path. 

SD Nights Job


SD Nights launched in Spring Valley 2017. The program has since expanded to nine additional locations – amply staffed and with an agenda full of venues, games and discussion topics.
